Breast Cancer Awareness Month 1st-31st October 2021

In New Zealand, nine women a day are told they have breast cancer - and their lives are changed forever.  For every woman diagnosed, there are many more family and friends affected.  It can be hard to know what to do to help.

Breast cancer is most treatable when it’s caught early, which is why regular screening is our best tool. Make sure you’re up-to-date with your mammograms and let your doctor or radiologist know if you’ve had the Covid-19 vaccine recently, and in which arm.

From age 20, it’s important to know the look and feel of your breasts, and show any changes to your doctor. From age 40, we recommend you start regular mammograms.

During this Octobers Breast Cancer Awareness Month Lys Creations NZ is donating 10% of each sale from our special Pink Labelled White Travel Tins to the Breast Cancer Foundation to assist with Education and Awareness programs for New Zealanders.
